Meena Devi Jindal Polyclinic conducts structured community and charitable initiatives to improve access to basic healthcare and preventive services. MDJ Skill Centre:

The MDJ Skill Centre offers structured training for young students in the General Duty Assistant (GDA) program. The training covers practical patient care skills, basic clinical procedures, infection control practices, and professional conduct required in healthcare environments. In addition to classroom and hands-on learning, the program also includes placement assistance, guiding students in securing opportunities in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings. The aim is to enhance employability and support learners in building a sustainable career in the healthcare sector.

Patient Stories

Trauma Management (Foot Fracture Case)

A patient presented with severe pain and swelling in the foot following a fall. Clinical examination and X-ray confirmed a fracture of the 5th metatarsal bone.

Immediate pain management, immobilization, and referral ensured timely treatment and prevented complications. Early intervention helped stabilize the condition and supported recovery.

This case demonstrates the importance of prompt trauma care and referral systems.

Emergency Care - Hypotension & Dehydration

A middle-aged patient presented with severe weakness, vomiting, and dizziness. Clinical examination revealed low blood pressure due to dehydration.

Immediate administration of IV fluids and supportive treatment stabilized the patient’s condition. Early intervention prevented complications such as shock and ensured quick recovery.

This case highlights the effectiveness of prompt emergency response and clinical management at MDJ.

Dental Infection Management

A 46-year-old male patient visited MDJ with severe tooth pain affecting daily activities. Clinical examination and OPG imaging revealed advanced dental infection.

The affected tooth was safely extracted, followed by proper cleaning and post-procedure care. The patient experienced immediate pain relief and improved oral health.

This case highlights the importance of timely dental intervention and preventive care.

Physiotherapy (Tennis Elbow Case)

A 48-year-old patient presented with elbow pain affecting grip strength and daily activities. Clinical assessment confirmed lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow).

A structured physiotherapy plan including exercises, modalities, and ergonomic guidance was initiated.

The patient showed improvement in pain and functional ability over time.

This case highlights the role of rehabilitative care in managing musculoskeletal conditions.
